Auto Body & Collision Repair

The program provides training in auto bodywork using a combination of textbook assignments, lectures, lab demonstrations, and one-on-one assistance.  Auto body and collision repair focuses on safety, tool identification and proper use, vehicle construction minor body repair, sanding, painting components and techniques, estimating damaged vehicles, welding and other technical skills. 

The program includes use of I-CAR professional training materials to meet National Automotive Technical Education Foundation (NATEF) requirements.

If you enjoy working on cars, and like the satisfaction of making a vehicle look new again, this program may be for you. When the dust from a car accident settles, and the matter of the car’s repair is taken into consideration, this is when Collision repair comes into play. The Auto Body & Collision Repair program provides training in auto bodywork using a combination of textbook assignments, lectures, lab demonstrations, and one-on-one assistance.

Auto body & Collision Repair is setup as a two-year program focusing on safety, tool identification and proper use, vehicle construction, minor body repair, sanding, painting components and techniques, estimating damaged vehicles, welding and other technical skills, knowledge and attitude to be successful in the automotive industry and continued education. The program includes use of I-CAR professional training materials.

In many of the programs offered at Sno-Isle Tech students have an opportunity to earn college credit at the same time they are earning high school credit. The total registration cost per Sno-Isle Tech program is usually $30 or less (and in many cases is FREE!). Students must complete their Sno-Isle Tech program with a "B" grade or better. It is the student's responsibility to register online or complete a registration packet. Ask your Sno-Isle Tech instructor for details about "Tech Prep".
