Interested in a career as an Automotive Technician? Then this is the program for you! Skilled technicians are in growing demand due to the advanced technology of today's vehicles. In ourNATEF Certified Auto Tech program, students will have the opportunity to learn how to repair vehicles using the NATEF tasks and guidelines.

Students at Sno-Isle also have the opportunity to work in an active auto shop where skills are applied in an actual job setting. This is a preparatory program and not for the hobbyist!

Here at Sno-Isle you’ll have the opportunity to learn the basics and the foundation required to be successful with diagnosing and repairing today’s ever changing automobile.

Safety, Brakes, Steering & Suspension, Engine Repair, Engine performance, and Electrical are some of the topics we cover. Students will have the opportunity to work in a large automotive shop furnished with equipment and tools. In many of the programs offered at Sno-Isle Tech students have an opportunity to earn college credit at the same time they are earning high school credit. The total registration cost per Sno-Isle Tech program is usually $30 or less (and in many cases is FREE!). Students must complete their Sno-Isle Tech program with a "B" grade or better. It is the student's responsibility to register online or complete a registration packet. Ask your Sno-Isle Tech instructor for details about "Tech Prep".
